Story
I'm walking 43 miles in February in memory of Andy. Partly to motivate myself and partly to raise money for the people who cared for our family in our hardest moments. Andy passed away on 2nd December 2022 after being diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic melanoma on 19th July 2020 - our wedding anniversary. His treatment stopped working in Sept 2022 and the cancer very quickly spread to his brain. His doctors at the Bexley Unit in Leeds fought hard to save him but sadly there was nothing they could do. When he was well, Andy loved nothing more than being outside, whether in the garden or walking. The early years of our relationship was mostly spent traipsing all over Yorkshire with a thermos of tea. ❤️Updates

We also made a start on the garden today, tidying up ready for spring. We've got snowdrops up already and bulbs sprouting. So, plenty of time outside and exercise despite not recording many walking miles.
